A native of St Petersburg, Russia, Gigi graduated from The St Petersburg Conservatory in 2005 with a degree in Violin Performance. With this study, Gigi obtained a thorough technical understanding of classical, electronic, and modern music and became a world-class performer. After the formation of Music By Gigi in 2013, she quickly became one of the most in-demand violinists in New York City.

Gigi has dazzled audiences all over the world with her vibrant and luxurious sound. She has performed for Barack Obama, Bill and Hilary Clinton, Ryan Seacrest, Kim Kardashian, Martha Stewart, and Leonardo DiCaprio. Gigi has shared the stage with stars like Sarah Brightman, Steven Tyler, Josh Groban, and Roger Daltry, and appeared on The Today Show, The Rachel Ray Show, The View, Good Morning America, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Regis and Kelly, Late Night With Seth Myers, and The Late Show With David Letterman.

Gigi has performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Columbia University, Madison Square Garden, IZOD Arena, NJ's Prudential Center, Nassau Coliseum, and Philadelphia Art Museum.
